As we get closer to the November start of the NCAA Basketball schedule, I continue my early looks at the November Tournaments which college basketball fans love so much.  Next up is a newer tourney, the Legends Classic.

The Legends Classic is another one of the tourneys which is set up to guarantee that the 4 marquee names automatically make it to the Semi-finals in Atlantic City.  This year, the final four teams are Syracuse, UTEP, Georgia Tech and Michigan.  There is a lot of good young talent in this field, and even the Regional games have a must-see performer in Ray McCallum of Detroit, who will play Syracuse.

If you haven't already, remember to check out the other Early Season Tournaments I have reviewed so far - Just go to the front page - NBADraftBlog.com to read about the Maui Invitational, NIT Season Tip-Off, 76 Classic, Old Spice Classic, Charleston Classic, Puerto Rico Tip-Off, 2K Sports Classic and the CBE Classic.

Now let's take a look at the Legends Classic...

My look at the Early-Season NCAA Tournaments continues with a look at the NIT Season Tip-Off.  With its Final Four playing at Madison Square Garden, the Season Tip-Off (formerly the Pre-Season NIT) has been the site for some great November basketball moments.  The winner of this tournament usually has great momentum heading towards the beginning of conference play.

16 Teams in a Single Elimination format, I will be looking at the 8 seeded teams here, including Villanova, Tennessee and UCLA. Let's take a look at the NIT...

Another day, another early season tournament to take a sneak peek at.  Today we will look at a newer entry into this field, and the tournament I hope to get to this season, the Charleston Classic.  The great thing about this tournament is that it is filled with up and coming teams, including Wofford, East Carolina and Charlotte.

While only 6 teams have been announced out of the field of 8, I couldn't wait to take a look, so let's do an early breakdown of the Charleston Classic....

The NBADraftBlog.com early look at the November NCAA tournaments motors on with a look at Orlando's Old Spice Classic.  Now in its fifth year, the Old Spice always provides great match-ups and many NCAA Tournament breakthrough teams started their seasons at the Old Spice Classic.  Teams with the potential to do that this season who are here are Georgia and their star Trey Thompkins, and Fran Dunphy's Temple squad.

Keep in mind, this is just an early look at the teams, and come November, I will take a much more in-depth look.  Again, the focus here is not on the teams themselves, but on the players, specifically players with pro potential.  So let's take a look at The Old Spice Classic....
